I took my photos at my grandparents house because they live on a lake. I chose to take these photos here because I spent my whole childhood since young at my grandparents on the lake. This reminds me of peace with my family every time I go to the lake. I'm trying to convey that when your stressed or even down, being alone and being in a peaceful place where you can hear satisfying sounds such as; the wind blowing can take your mind off things. I had some errors taking photos of the lake because It's not like I can swim to the middle than take a picture of the other side and so I had to try and take photos but at the different angle on the one side I could take photos.
I took these photos at the Muskegon River while canoeing with my family up north this past summer. I chose to take these photos because every summer my family and I go up north to my grandparents trailer to take a vacation away from other things that are stressing. This reminds me to always love family and make moments rememerable. I'm trying to convey that do things you enjoy with people you love being with. The hard parts I had taking these photos were that I was canoeing so It was more of a rest break than keep going and there was other kyakers so I had to edit them out.
I took these photos Up North at my grandparents trailor that we stay at on vacations this past summer. I chose to take these photos because they can share a story behind them and it's interesting even to myself even though I know all about it. These photos remind me of my grandpa always telling us "don't burn all my wood up", "Only pee in the house, do #2 in the outhouse", or "you gotta work it all off before you can eat supper." I'm trying to convey that my grandparents are very special to me like my mom and siblings and they teach me a lot about the world we live in. The hard parts of taking these photos are that to have the perfect lighting and not people in them because almost all the time were outside doing things.
I took these photos in Traverse City this past summer while I was Up North fishing on the big lakes with my family. I chose to take these photos because they were very satisfying to see the breeze of the strong wind in the photo without actually being there and feeling it. These photos remind me of when we were coming back from the lake to go to our house when we had the fish poles in the back of the truck and they fell out and my grandpa blamed my little brother for not putting them in all the way as a joke. I'm trying to convey that fishing is fun and you can keep throwing your rod back in until you find a keeper. The struggles I had taking these photos are that having to wait till it had gotten darker so the sun can set but the wind was still strong.
I took these photos in Maui this past summer when I was visiting with my family. I chose to take these photos because of the sunset and it's very calming with the breeze. These photos remind me of being in the middle of trees because the wind makes you able to hear the breeze and the tree leaves. I'm trying to convey that go on vacations as long as you can pay for them and it relieves the stress on you. The struggles I had taking these photos was that getting something in the photo with the sun instead of just the sunset.
